Emily Irene VanCamp, a Canadian actor and actress is famous for her roles as the main character in a variety of television programs as well as her outstanding performances in films. There is a huge fanbase on American and Canadian TV. At the age of Emily was 12, she began to become fascinated by acting after she visited her older sister Katie on the set of one of her films. She started taking classes in acting, and then auditioning when she realized that she was passionate about acting. Her first audition was for a small amount of advertisements and then was selected for Are You Afraid Of The Dark A Canadian horror show for kids. It was the only scene where she was unable to talk. At the age 15, she made her breakthrough after she became part of the WB series Glory Days. Emily's talent attracted the attention of Greg Berlanti when the show was canceled after only nine episodes. He cast Emily as a character on Everwood the new television show. Emily is also a dancer, a photographer and was named as one of the top 20 teens' actors. Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 placed Emily at number 51.
